About us

Godmanchester Sewcial was founded in early 2025 by local maker Sarah Lee (Sarah Lee Made Me), and her husband Andy. They wanted to create a space where people could come together and enjoy their shared interest in sewing. 

We’re still just a baby but since stepping out into the big wide world we’ve been delighted by the enthusiasm for what we’re trying to achieve - providing a welcoming and supportive space where creativity and craft can thrive through shared knowledge, encouragement and resources - and we’ve welcomed the most wonderful sewists into our community many of whom regularly participate in our events.

We're really proud of what we've accomplished so far and excited for what's to come.
